VOICES WOVEN WITH PRIDE

February 9, 2026Benthel AsiaArticlesNo Comments

Excitement and enthusiasm filled the air in every corner of Benthel Asia School of Technology, Inc. Chitchat with friends using our very own national language is heard in every room a student passes by, which represents our identity as Filipino civilians. Filipino is not just a language we usually speak in our daily lives; it is a testament to our pride and dignity.

The program began with a heartfelt opening message from the principal and school directress, reminding everyone that the Filipino language is the thread that connects generations. As the performances started, the stage came alive with folk dances, songs, and spoken poetry that captured the essence of Filipino culture. The crowd cheered with every beat of the drums and every word of passion spoken onstage. Each performance became a symbol of how language provides life to our stories, emotions, and dreams as a people.

Excitement filled the campus as students showcased their talents in competitions such as Poster Making, Poetry contests, and Tagisan ng Talino. Every entry reflected creativity and deep respect for the Filipino language. Teachers and classmates watched with pride, knowing that each participant carried the spirit of unity and identity within them. Through every poem, artwork, and debate, the students proved that language can inspire greatness and bring hearts together.

“Ang wika ay susi ng puso at diwa, tuluyan ng tao’t ugnayan ng bansa,” Marisol Mapula stated, emphasizing the significance of the Filipino language. It was a celebration that reminded all Benthelians that the Filipino language is not just spoken—it is lived, felt, and cherished. And as the final note faded, the message remained clear and strong—voices woven in pride.
