Last 31st of August 2016, Benthel Asia School of Technology celebrates the Buwan ng Wika with the theme “Wika ng Karunungan” to commemorate the month when Manuel L. Quezon made Tagalog as our official dialect in the country. The event took place in the BAST Soccer field.
Students wore their Filipino attire such as the Baro’t Saya (girls) and Barong Tagalog (boys). To kick off the event, Christian Rudolf Guerra and Joshua Dela Cruz, highschool learners stand as the masters of the ceremony. It started off with the performances from the Preschool Department.
After, the High school department presented their speech choral a break followed. Next is the OPM band perfomance having various original Filipino songs. Chessa Gavilanga a grade 10 learner gave a short message to all the learners on why we need to commemorate the Buwan ng Wika. The activity ended showing nationalism and patronizing what is our own.
